@ 8:52 pm Dear all, Some news from Mr. Aik Keong It's time for an Arts Appreciation music workshop! The details of the workshop are as follows: Title: Brazilian Samba Meets Latin Fire by Guinness World Record Holders School: National Junior College, LT5 Date: 15 Aug 2007 (Wed, during CAAL) Time: From 2pm till 3.20pm (Total 2 Sessions) The run down of the workshop: 'Rhythm Masala members will do a performance and thereafter, followed by a hands on session by the students. We'll then give an explanation cum demo of all the drums being showcased. We also welcome students who know percussion to jamm with RM members. After which, a Teachers hands on session will be conducted, following with another hands on session for the students. Finally, wrap up with a pulsating performance by Rhythm Masala.' Can we identify from our class those with drumming experience (played drums in school Band, boy band, worship team drummer, etc)and EMAIL their names to Mr. Aik Keong. Those identified with experience may be called on to join in the jamming session with the professionals. Please send him the names by Monday, 6 Aug. Humpty Dumpty (: |
